About the Role
We are looking for a working student (Werkstudent) to join Gradient Technologies. This is a hybrid role combining business development and engineering — you will work part-time alongside your studies, supporting both our go-to-market efforts and our technical work in a hands-on, fast-moving environment.
What You Will Do
Business Development
- Identify and develop relationships with potential investors and institutional clients
- Build partnerships with financial institutions, family offices, and asset managers
- Support fundraising and capital acquisition efforts
- Conduct market research on industry trends and the competitive landscape
- Help prepare investor presentations and pitch materials
- Represent Gradient Technologies at industry events and conferences
Engineering Support
- Assist with testing and improving components of our AI inference pipelines
- Help process and structure financial data for analysis
- Support the team with product features and tooling
- Analyze results, document findings, and help identify improvements
What We Are Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a degree programme (Business, Finance, Computer Science, or similar)
- Some experience with Python or a genuine interest in learning it
- Curiosity about machine learning, AI, and financial data
- Genuine interest in financial markets and the investment industry
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time
- Strong communication skills in both English and German
- Available for at least 16 hours per week during the semester
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.)
- Knowledge of financial markets or quantitative methods
- Experience with cloud infrastructure or data pipelines
- Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows
